It’s difficult being a woman and finding a car that allows us to express ourselves and all the different roles we have to play. I have the opportunity to review cars on a regular basis but one thing I have noticed is that it’s often difficult to find a car that meets all the needs of a busy working mom.
One of the things that I notice is that I want sport and Luxury but still have to have the ability to haul camera and lighting equipment around. One of the perks with the QX50 is that is very stylish but I don’t feel like I am driving a mom mobile.
The QX50 is sporty and sexy and feels less utilitarian and more practical luxury. One of the things I have noticed about this car is that whether I am lugging around equipment or pulling up to a red carpet event it fits in well with all the various roles I have to play.
I love the technology options on this vehicle and the beautifully trimmed cabin. The cargo room though not quite as roomy as some of the other vehicles seemed perfect for my lifestyle and needs. The 325-hp 3.7 liter V-6 is a joy and gives me all the power I need. The power is through a seven-speed automotive; and although rear-wheel drive is standard there is an all-wheel drive option.
