Consumers are grabbing their wallets and walking away from Trump labels and brands.
The #GrabYourWallet campaign was started by Shannon Coulter, a San Fransisco based marketing specialist, after the infamous video was released of Trump talking about grabbing women by their genitals.

In an interview with The Guardian, Coulter talks about her experience with sexual harassment at work, and how the surfacing of the tape where the president-elect boasts about grabbing women brought back horrible memories.
Coulter said if Ivanka had distanced herself from her father’s campaign, she would feel differently. But the continued support of her father, and the limelight Ivanka receives, brought coulter to call for consumers to boycott her label and other Trump brands.
The boycott includes over 50 retailers, and the full list can be found at Money.com. Stores include Amazon, Macy’s, and Nordstrom.
Although big retailers haven’t dropped the Trump brand yet, Shoes.com has removed Ivanka Trump’s line, and interior home store Bellacor has dropped the Trump Home brand from their inventory, according to The Guardian.

The #GrabYourWallet movement has continued to gain momentum on Twitter, and many users are expressing their concerns and distaste for the conflict of interest Trump’s businesses now pose.
Now that Trump is a federal employee, the lack of transparency into his business dealings, and whether or not his businesses will be put into a blind trust ran by his children, is an issue, according to CBS.
House speaker Paul Ryan expressed his concern by adding the new Trump Hotel in D.C. is one example of a conflict of interest since the building is being leased from the government.
The same concerns are falling toward Ivanka and her clothing and accessory line.
In a post-election “60 Minutes” interview, Ivanka’s team promoted the $10,800 diamond bracelet she was wearing, and many feel she will continue to profit from her father’s win.
Although federal ethics laws are in place to help stop this kind of business gain, the dealings of Trump and his children’s roles will continue to play a large part during is presidency.
